Here is a checklist to give you a sense of direction to kickstart your job search off! It is important to plan your day and not get too bogged down in trying to find your next role
Daily
- [ ] Make sure you have set your LinkedIn to open to new opportunities (however do not get the green ring that says this around your profile). It creates a bias that will have the opposite effect.
- [ ] Look at any alerts you have set up for any target clients/job alerts you have set up
- [ ] Check your emails for new jobs or emails from recruiters/companies
- [ ] Keep track using the tracker - this is so important as it is your brand
Morning
- [ ] Search - Follow up with all your emails with a call to the company or recruiter
- [ ] BD - Check in with the current recruiters/companies if you have not heard back (feedback usually takes 48hrs)
- [ ] Apply for 2-4 applications a day - assuming they are relevant and what you are seeking
- [ ] Check-in for feedback on any outstanding applications.
Afternoon/Evening
- [ ] Make sure your interviews are confirmed
- [ ] Do your homework on any interviews that are pending - including reading articles, research the hiring team
- [ ] Update your tracker
